Autumn decorating can be full of many accessories. Combining them together in just the right way, can create a pleasing fall palette. Small items of the season (white pumpkins), placed in a certain way, can make a festive statement.
I love, love, love using lanterns in my designs! The use of three in this display, makes the design feel more abundant. I added a few pumpkins for interest and finished it off with an autumn spray, filled with sunflowers, berries, various foliage and feathers. I topped it with a colorful fall bow and attached the arrangement to the largest lantern.
A simple and quick element to use in your design is a cloche. I placed two ceramic pumpkins under one with some faux fall leaves. The look is impressive without any fuss.
Make a statement centerpiece with just a few items. I took an ivy urn I already had and added small pumpkins and gourds to it. I then placed a larger pumpkin on the top and others at the bottom, to complete the look. Autumn decorating should be fun, festive and full of colorful reminders of the season. While the days are growing short and the nights long, make your home feel warm and cozy with autumn touches here and there.
After All It’s Autumn

Luann,
The vignette with the rooster is stunning, dear one!!!
I am swooning over your display of lanterns and pumpkins, too!!!
Thank you for sharing your Autumn decor!!!

Hi Pat! Thank you for your lovely comment and for viewing my post today! I’m so thankful I have my lanterns. Their size is great for the foyer and they make such a perfect statement, especially during the holidays! That rooster is a staple in my kitchen. I do him move him around a lot. I have a lot more designs for fall to share.
Have a lovely week!

Gorgeous touches…I am in love with how you used those large martini glasses (or are they candle holders?)!
Thanks Christine! Those are actually tea light candle holders. I love using them! They look wonderful tiered together. I’m grateful I was able to purchase them that way quite a few years ago. I just have to be very careful cleaning them, especially the large one. Thank you for viewing my post!
Have a wonderful week!
