Late Summer Kitchen Table Centerpiece

Hello Everyone! It’s Friday and my Niece’s wedding was just about a week ago. Hard to believe! The last post was on the beautiful flower box I took home from the wedding. I kept most of the florals in it from the wedding, but added some more of my own. Well, as you all know, live florals only last about a week before they look wilted and dried out. Too Bad! I wish they would last longer, but that’s the way it is. Unfortunately, I had to throw the flowers away and leave the beautiful box empty. NOT! If anyone knows me, they know I just won’t do that! I had to fill it with something, so I thought something late summerish. I’m not ready for fall decor yet, but real soon!

I know I just posted about this flower box, but I couldn’t resist sharing my next design with you. I filled the box with more white hydrangeas, but this time they are faux. I used green ones also. These Hydrangeas were from Pier 1 and look amazingly real! I shared these before with you. They were in the basket I had on the floor in my new dining room. The basket is empty right now, but I will fill it again with the hydrangeas when I decorate this flower box for fall. Click here to view my dining room post photo.

I added some faux Ivy to the hydrangeas to fill out the arrangement. I liked the way the flameless candles looked in the box with the real florals. I used them again, but this time with two green lanterns. I had these lanterns on my dining room table, before my dining room renovation. DSC_0017 copy

I hope you enjoyed my Fantastic Flower Box again. I can’t wait to share my fall harvest design that I have envisioned for the box.
I hope your weekend is lovely!
