Good Day Everyone! I hope to find you well this Wednesday. It is certainly feeling like Autumn here in CT this past week. The weather is beautiful! I don’t know what’s better, a cool sunny spring day or a cool sunny fall day? I guess both are lovely!
I’m showing off my pot rack today. I decided to change the flameless candles I had on the pot rack to an Autumn display.
The candles I used on the rack worked wonderfully. I had them going on automatically at night. Their warm glow against the ceiling looked and felt very inviting when you walked into the kitchen. You can click here to view my post “Kitchen Vignettes” for more views of the pot rack.
I still wanted to use flameless candles on top of the rack. I decided to use only two and placed them in lanterns. I worked them into a vignette that feels Autumn-ish.
A few elements for height and fullness is all I needed to balance the design. A galvanized planter and pitcher, along with faux hydrangeas and small white pumpkins did the trick.
I hope I gave you some ideas for a simple Autumn look today. You can decorate basically anywhere for Autumn or any season. Don’t be afraid to decorate a new space in your home. The space could be a corner, ledge, or counter. It could even be under a table, or on top of a pot rack. The choices are endless!
Happy Autumn Decorating!

Hi, LuAnn, The arrangement is beautiful,,,honestly, you could leave it up all year with it’s neutral colors. Ingenious idea for a pot rack! I’m loving this time of year as well…fall and spring are my very favorite times of year. Have a wonderful day.
I agree Bobbi, fall is the best time of year! Thank you sweet lady for your lovely comments. I think I like fall best…Maybe it’s because my birthday is in October! lol
Loving hearing from you!
LuAnn 😉
When in October is your birthday? That’s such a great month, with all the fall colors and anticipation of the holidays to come. I agree that autumn is the best! Well, time for bed. Sweet dreams.
Hi Bobbi! October 29th is my birthday and I do agree it’s a great month! lol Hard to believe it’s a week and a half away! Wow too fast for me!
Happy Weekend!
LuAnn 😉
Oops… I can see from my comment, with all those commas together, that I shouldn’t type without my reading glasses. LOL.
That’s ok Bobbi! I’m wearing my glasses and I still make lots of mistakes! lol 😉
A wonderful rack!
Thanks Villrose! It’s always a pleasure hearing from you! Thanks for your lovely comment!

Thanks Angie! I tried to be as creative as I could with it. I like decorating spaces to be unexpected some times. It makes things more interesting that way.

That is super pretty and so simple to create. With just a few changes, you can make something look so different. Love it!

The flameless candles were probably wonderful but your new display adds so much “life” to the area and looks fabulous!

How pretty! I’ve always loved the look of pot racks and have never had a good place for one.
Hi Stacey! Thank you for the lovely comment. You do need some room to hang a pot rack. I was very lucky I had the space over my island. Many thanks for stopping by today!

Happy Monday! Lou Lou Girls
Beautiful! Such a viberent and lively display. This vignette gives one a sense of missed opportunity. I don’t have a pot rack, nor do I have space for one because I live in an urban aera with a tiny kitchen, all of my walls are laden with cabinets, and with no room to navigate.
I ponder a new kitchen design with hopes of including a pot rack. Ether; I’m going to work up a remodeled kitchen or a larger house with a bigger kitchen. LOL!
Bottom Line! I will succeed in getting one.
Hi Luann, I liked this blog so much I came back today to ask you if it was ok to repost this to my blog. Because I think that my viewers would benefit dearly from it.
Thanks for your lovely comment, viewing my post and coming back! You are more than welcome to use my post on your blog, just as long as there is a link back to me. I wish you good luck in getting your own pot rack in your kitchen. I love mine! It’s very convenient and frees up cabinet space for other things. I can decorate it too! Let me know when you use my post on your blog.
Have a lovely week!
LuAnn 😉
