I want to share some of my outside touches of Fall today. Thanksgiving is a little over a week away and I thought I would show a few more Fall/Thanksgiving elements that I put together.
Earlier last month, I bought these flat style pumpkins and stacked them on top of this bird bath. It’s found in my front garden. I wrapped two leaf and berry garlands around them for a bright fun look. The flat style pumpkins make it easy to stack them. On Halloween night, a prankster removed the top pumpkin and placed it in the middle of my driveway. I was thankful it wasn’t smashed! It was just some Halloween fun.
I love how these mini pumpkins look in this wall planter! I tied festive ribbons into bows around a few of them. Funny how small touches can make big statements!
My etagere just outside my kitchen door sports more cute mini pumpkins and some small ceramic turkeys. They are actually salt and pepper shakers that look great in the design! You can use anything you want to create a certain look. It doesn’t matter as long as the element works with your theme. I think I’m welcoming the turkeys we’ve been seeing lately in the yard. There are thirteen of them! Don’t they know it’s a dangerous time to be around? Lol!
The festive ribbon looks so cute and pretty on these mini pumpkins. I like the way the scale of the pumpkins works with the scale of the turkeys.
I hope you enjoyed A Thank-fall Time!

What a great idea–pumpkins in the birdbath entwined in garland is so pretty! You always think out of the box, giving me some wonderful inspiration. Our weather has turned cold, with a light dusting of snow last week that’s not typical for us so early in the season. Think we’re in for another cold winter again this year. Brrrr! Keep warm.
Hi Bobbi! It’s always great to hear from you. Thanks for your lovely words, they are very appreciated! The weather hear in CT is very cold, 30s actually! I’m not ready for this weather or the snow, but I think it’s coming very soon anyways. Keep warm yourself. Nice hearing from you!
Have a lovely week!

Just beautiful! I’m a little jealous of your still-green yard π
Thanks Aimee for your lovely comment and for visiting today! The grass is still pretty green , but not for long after this cold, in the 20s, during the day, weather. In the back ground are my white pines. I’m glad they stay green all year!

Beautiful LuAnn! I have had to start throwing my pumpkins away. A lot of them froze and got soft and mushy. I have a few left on my porch. I like to spray them gold and use them in my Christmas dΓ©cor. I have that same ceramic turkey and love it! Thanks for sharing with SYC.
hugs,
Jann
