It’s hard to believe that Thanksgiving is only a few days away! I would love to share our Thanksgiving table today. It’s set up in our newly renovated dining room. I posted on the renovation in July. Click here to see my Dining Room Done-Over!
The lanterns and the white hydrangea center piece was left on the table, but dressed up a bit to make them more festive for the Thanksgiving holiday.
I used wicker placemats with an open weave trim. I like their natural color, especially for the Fall. They create a rustic feel to the table along with the plaid napkins. It’s a very nice contrast with the decorative cream place settings.
These turkey salad plates look so elegant on top of the cream dinner plates. Who knew that turkeys could look so pretty! I tied the napkins and flatware together with a natural colored ribbon. They look like little bundles on the table.
I chose to go with a subdued color theme in my dining room for Fall and Thanksgiving. Lots of cream tones along with light greens, light browns and light oranges.
The crystal glasses sparkle beautifully in the warm candle light. I love how crystal glasses looks so pretty and elegant with light shinning through them and around them.
Faux fruit of apples and pears fill in the spaces between the lanterns and center piece. Plenty of white sunflowers (some with sparkles) gives the tablescape more fullness.
Little turkey salt and pepper shakers fill in more spaces. I have a variety of them that are scattered throughout the table.
I have the little turkeys peeking out from the fruit, flowers and glasses for some fun and folly on the table.
I’m wishing everyone a beautiful and of course lovely Thanksgiving!
I hope you enjoyed my Time for Thankgiving post today!
