Holiday Flower Box

I’ve been very busy decorating my home for Christmas since Thanksgiving. I’m just about finished! How about you?

This lovely flower box is all dressed up with Winter florals. I’ve decorating it a few times since my niece’s wedding in August. I was able to take a box home with me after the wedding reception and I had done a few posts on it since then. My Fall Flower Box was my last post on the box.

A mix of wintery faux florals fill the box nicely, as well as large sized pinecones, faux sugared fruits and berries. I left the green Hydrangeas and Ivy in the box from my Fall arrangement. They help to fill in the space of the box and add a soft look to the Winter theme.

I also left my green decorative charger plates on the table and added these cute snowman plates on top of them.DSC_0022
A few glass jars holding tea light candles, warm up the table. I love the look of candle light on the dinner table. Now that it gets dark around 4:30 here, the warm candle glow makes the darkness seem less daunting.

  1. Isn’t it wonderful when you can get so much mileage from one item? Everything looks so pretty, and I love the corner piece in your kitchen. Another grey, dreary day here….makes me want to sleep but I have so much Xmas shopping yet to be done that I better move my you know what and face the day. Have a good one, sweetie!

    • Hi Bobbi! It’s a grey day here too. Snow and rain tomorrow and a possible Nor’easter on Tues. Let it snow, let it snow…nice to have it for Christmas. I just have to get outside decor done now! Too cold though..oh well! Nice hearing from you.
