It’s Christmas tonight! How fast it got here. Another Christmas and What a Christmas It Will Be! I decorated my dining room table with winter whites this year. I love the softness whites give a design. I love, love, love the Winter Wonderland look you can get from whites!
The table is all dressed up and ready to go for Christmas dinner! White trees fill the center of the table, along with the white lanterns I’ve kept in the design from Thanksgiving. Tea light candles glow against the crystal glasses and warm the table with a magical feeling.
Small touches of red are carried through with the use of berries. I’ve wrapped the berries around the three trees in the center of the table and also around the candles in the lanterns. I used berry garland and cut off pieces to the size I needed. It worked perfectly!
Little white birds are tucked in here and there around the table. Silvery butterflies are clipped onto the lantern handles.
Small touches of white elements add to the look of the design. I used my white porcelain churches on my buffet and added more white trees next to them. The trees light up as do the smaller ones on the table. They are very pretty indeed!
The fireplace in the room is decorated to match the table with the use of white hydrangeas. The hydrangea flowers look like snowball puffs on the garland, wreaths and also on the table, between the trees in the center. My Christmas wreath matches the one over the buffet. Velvet bows on both wreaths and fireplace garland match the color of the drapery in the room.
More of the white birds are flocked together on my chandelier. I hung crystal snowflakes from the light and added branches with crystals attached to them for a winter icy look! I love the effect!

I love all of the white. My husband has an issue with all white. I think it’s stunning, wish he did. I think it adds an elegance that multiple colors just can’t achieve. Thanks for linking up this week to Scraptastic Saturdays.
Hi Andrea! My husband likes color too…when I changed to all white lights on the tree my husband and kids weren’t to happy! They got use to it though.
Have a lovely week!
