It’s hard to believe that it’s Lent and Easter is about 5 weeks away. All that snow piled up outside and more on it’s way, makes it feel like Christmas more than Easter around here! Is the snow melting where you are? Do you see any signs of Spring yet? I decided to start decorating for Spring a little early this year. If I couldn’t get Spring outside, then I would create it inside. I’ve been putting away Winter a little at a time and bringing out Spring. I will soon share with you all the wonderful ideas I have for the upcoming Spring season. For now, I thought I would show some photos from last Easter to hold you over.
In this display, I had cute bunnies hanging around on my kitchen table. They seemed to be welcoming anyone who sat at the table.
Here a small bunny sits in a nest surrounded by Easter eggs. I placed them both on a cake stand and under a glass cloche.
This bunny is comically riding a chicken. It’s one of my favorite Easter decorations. It works perfectly in the kitchen and it’s a fun conversation piece for sure.
Who doesn’t love tulips for Easter? They are such a delicate and elegant flower. They make beautiful arrangements and look lovely in Easter and Spring displays.
My Easter theme table-scape hosts more bunnies. I folded pink napkins in flower shapes and placed them on the dinner plates. An Easter egg decorates the center of each folded napkin.
Easter eggs are seen in this Ivy center piece. These pretty pastel colored eggs fill in the arrangement nicely and makes it much more interesting.

I’m with you, LuAnn! We can’t beat old man winter outside, but we sure can make it feel like spring indoors. My indoor wreaths are up and will put out more before the week ends. Just looking at the cheery pastel colors makes my heart sing. Thank you for your Easter post. Love the bunny riding on the chicken…so cute…and you know I have a weakness for beautiful pitchers filled with flowers.

LuAnn,
visiting from Common Ground, love your Easter, so fresh and pretty after a long, grey winter, not so normal for here in TN! You’ve got me motivated to get my Spring on! Our last little snow should be melted by tomorrow, and next week we’re supposed to have sunshine and days up in the high 50’s and 60’s! Can’t wait!
Rebecca
Lucky you Rebecca! Our snow will probably last till June! Lol There is so much here it’s crazy! It’s warming up here too, upper 30’s and 40’s maybe next week! Lots of melting for sure I hope! Happy Spring decorating!
