This year, I decided to make an Easter display on my kitchen island. I’ve been displaying other holidays on the island lately, so why not Easter as well?
I took out these adorable bunnies (I used in last year’s designs) and clustered them under and around these pretty cloche stands .
Different elements under each cloche made the design interesting and fun. Small colored eggs, floral pieces and ivy helped to create a difference among the duplicate bunnies.
A small nest sits in two stacked floral dishes and adds a touch of spring to the island. I filled my black check pattern pitcher with eggs. I like the way it looks in the space and makes the display more pleasing.
Bunnies, bunnies everywhere! I grouped mine together to create more impact. I wanted it to shout “Easter” and “Spring”, without being over done and kiddish. I think I achieved it with this display.
I wanted some height to the design and it was perfectly created with the three tiered cloche stands. They standout nicely and work together in creating a unique exhibit.
I hope you enjoyed my “Easter Touches on the Island” post!

Adorable! I did a Spring/Easter display on my kitchen bar counter too and will be piosting it Mon. I love the bunnies in the cloches:)
Thanks Pinky! I’m happy you enjoyed my display! I’ve been working all week to get Easter and Spring decor finished. It’s so nice to have Spring inside even though outside there’s 4 to 5 feet of snow on the ground! I just hope it melts soon!
Have a lovely Sunday!

Very Cute! Where did you get those cloche stands? They are darling! Great job! Happy Spring!
Thanks Cindy for your lovely comments! Sorry, I don’t remember where I found my cloche stands…I bought them a long time ago. They were such a great find and I’ve been using them since for all different displays. Try eBay or just a Google search you never know what you might find. Happy Spring to you too!
LuAnn 😉
So pretty, LuAnn! Love the little bunnies. Finally, spring feels like it actually is just around the corner. Yippy! I put up the wreaths last week, but still need to put out the Easter décor. I came upon the most beautiful Limoges dessert plates with matching serving tray while antiquing last weekend. The design is stunning with amethyst to lavender shades of purple on a white background with raised white embossing and gold trimmings, and looks almost brand new. They will look so great with our white embossed bone china and amethyst crystal stemware this Easter. They are so pretty that I have to take a little peek at them every day lol!
Hi Bobbi! Aren ‘t the bunnies great? I bought them last year from Pier 1. I had to purchase more than one…I like the impact you get from a bunch of them. I hope warm weather is here next week! The snow is melting today for sure, but it’s cloudy and still cold out. Your Limoges pieces sound beautiful! Your table dressed in pretty shades of purple hues will be eye candy at Easter. You are very lucky to find them ! You are so cute peeking at them everyday! Lol
I hope your Sunday is lovely and warm!

I wish I could tell everyone where I bought my cloche stands. Sorry Susie, I just don ‘t remember where I found them! They were a great find though, I use them all the time…they’re a great staple! I’m happy you enjoyed my display! Thank you for your visit!
Have a lovely Sunday!

Your island is great! Do you smile every time you walk by?
Hi Lulu! I’m called LuLu by a few people in my family! Thank you for your lovely comments! I do smile when I go into the kitchen for sure. It feels like Spring, but just doesn’t look like it outside! We have about 4 to 5 feet of snow yet to melt. I just keep thinking that Spring will be very colorful here with all that water from the melting snow. Can’t wait!
Have a lovely Sunday and week!

Hi LuAnn,
I came across your feature on CPW and jumped over to visit. I love your style, and the island arrangement had me at the tiered cloches and courtly checks. 🙂 I started following on G+ and Pinterest, and spent a good bit of time going over your posts. I’m happy Karin featured you, and I look forward to seeing more of your style.
