Spring is finally here in a few days and Easter is just under two weeks away. I’m ready and excited for both! I’ve been decorating and changing rooms all over the house to reflect the new season. It may not look like Spring outside, but inside it’s flourishing. I’ve even changed my wall plug-in fragrances from pine and cinnamon scents to pretty florals. It’s not just a visual stimulation it’s also a fragrant one as well.
The design on the table is all about layering and height. A white pitcher is filled with beautiful yellow tulips. This arrangement has a perfect height and creates a natural flow to the display. Next to the Tulips is an apothecary jar. It’s perfect for the small bird’s nest I’ve placed inside. The small wooden planter box is filled with green and white hydrangeas. Two bunnies look as if they are hiding in the petals. Different size stacked plates have pretty flower shaped bowls on top and make nice in-between filler pieces. My favorite item is the small bunny tureen. It adds fun and interest to the table.
These adorable bunny egg cups are placed at each charger plate on the table. They hold black chalkboard eggs. I’ve personalized them with liquid chalk pens for every family member. They mark the spot where everyone sits during dinner.
Pretty blue speckled eggs fill these small yellow flower shaped bowls. The contrast between the blue and yellow is lovely. They’re propped on top of small square stacked plates. I love how their shape fits in nicely with the rest of the elements on the table. The eggs give a definite Spring feeling to the design.
