Golden Easter

Golden Easter 2015
I found these cute glittery golden bunnies and thought they would work beautifully on my living room coffee table. You can always use a little glitter and why not for Easter? These two bunnies are perfect in creating an elegant display for Easter.

The golden tones of the two bunnies blend in lovely with the golden cloche stand and tray.

The size and shape of the bunnies fit in nicely around the other items on the table.Golden Easter2015

I placed a small wicker basket filled with florals and a few small blue eggs in the tray. The basket looks like a small bird’s nest and gives the design some whimsey.

Decoupage Easter eggs are casually placed around the bird’s nest basket and fill the tray perfectly. They have some golden tones in them that compliment the other golden items.

Three small wire cloches are displayed on the mantel. More decoupage eggs are balanced around the cloches. I placed faux candles in the cloches with some dried hydrangea petals.

Little birds are perched on top of the cloches. They help to create a pretty touch of Spring to the mantel.

  1. Elegant and lovely, LuAnn! Everything works so well together, and I like seeing Easter colors other than pastels for a change of pace. Mantle dΓ©cor looks so nice with the burnished gold frame on the peacock/peahen artwork, too.

    • Hi Bobbi! I’m happy the way my display came out in the living room. When I found these bunnies I thought how different for a change…The pastel colors are pretty, but this is an elegant approach.
      Happy Wednesday!

  7. How cute! I would not think of gold for Easter, (other than the golden egg laid by the goose), but they sure are darling. Thanks for sharing with SYC.
