Lovely Decoupage Eggs

Today I’m sharing the decoupage eggs my lovely husband (Carlo aka Mr.LL) and youngest son, Joseph, helped me design and render. I wanted to show you a close-up picture of them all together. They did a beautiful job! Don’t you think?

We used my various pretty paper napkins to achieve the look I envisioned. The process took some time and the end result came out perfect. We carefully cut around the flowers, butterflies and words on the napkins and pasted them onto the blown out eggs with brushes. We used two types of decoupage glues for the job. One had a glossy finish and the other had a matte finish. Either way, they all came out about the same…one was a little more shinier than the other.

I placed the finished eggs in lovely egg holders and used them in my “Easter Table-Scape” design.
