A Lovely Milk Bottle Arrangement

Milk Bottle Arrangement

The other day I was shopping at my local grocery store for a few items and found these vibrant roses. I couldn’t resist! Roses are one of my favorite flowers. I love, love, love pink, yellow and orange colored roses. These peachy orange and pinkish red ones were beautiful!

I thought I would place them in one of my cream color pitchers I usually use, but not this time. I wanted something different. I thought these milk bottles in a wire basket would work wonderfully. The bottles are a perfect size and shape to display the roses.

They look great on my kitchen counter! The colors of the roses work well with the colors in my kitchen. The size of the wire basket sits perfectly on the counter and doesn’t take up to much room.

The rustic look of the arrangement adds a lovely warm touch.

The quote,”A rose is a rose is a rose”, is just not true. Roses are very different from one another in their various shapes, colors and sizes. They can have deep multiple layers that are very sensuous, with exotic fragrances that we adore. Some Roses only have a few layers with a slight fragrance or none at all. What ever the type, Roses simply fill our lives with lovely pleasure.

Roses are lovely flowers that exude radiance. Shakespeare said it well with, “A rose by any other name would smell as sweet.”
