A Little Memorial Day Display

Memorial Day Display

I’m sharing my little Memorial Day display with you today. I put together a fun and functional vignette that captures the feel of the holiday without much fuss.

A great galvanized steel tray holds the items of my display together perfectly! This tray fits in with todays decor style, especially for a country kitchen look.

I used my black check pattern pieces in the vignette. The tea pot sits on the stove and is used every day. I built the other items (red, white and blue) around the check pattern.

Pops of red are seen here in the use of plaid napkins, strawberries, a flag, small bowls and even the top of the sugar bowl.

Pops of blues are from the blueberries and the flag, of course.

My theme was of strawberries and blueberries and cream. All of which can be used in breakfast cereals, for snacks and as dessert toppings.

I hope everyone has a Happy and Safe Memorial Day. God Bless the men and women who had given their lives for our country and our freedom. Thank You!
