Relax and Wine Down

Wine Down

Who doesn’t enjoy a relaxing spot with a glass of wine and the one you love? I’m always changing the displays in various rooms of my home and the living room was a perfect choice for a small wine theme display.
Wine Down

These cute Staffordshire Dogs are the stars of this vignette. I wanted to play up their black tones and used a few of my black check pattern pieces along with black check layered napkins. Orange tone roses and flower napkin rings contrast brilliantly against the black.

My crystal wine glasses sparkle beautifully against the napkins and gold tone tray.

The black tones play on one another in an elegant yet charming way. The contrast of the cream and orange roses completes the design giving it a dramatic look.

I love a relax and wine down time! I spent the last couple of months creating a Paradise in my back yard (on the blog) so I could enjoy some of those wine down evenings this summer. You vignette is very fun! Enjoy it! Blessings, Cindy

    1. Thanks Cindy! I visited your paradise and it looks wonderful! I love how your wall turned out. Perfect! I’m sure you will enjoy many wine down times at your pool.
      Happy Friday! Blessings Back!

  3. The title of your post cracks me up! And I love it! Yes please, I’ll have some wine! Especially a glass served with such loveliness.

    1. Hi Audra! The wine light is almost on here! Lol Though it’s very warm here in Southern New England for now (that’ll change soon), I think it’ll be strawberry daiquiris instead. Maybe I should do a post on a strawberry daiquiri display. That could be fun! Look out for it! 🙂 Thanks for your lovely comment and for the visit.
      Have a lovely weekend!
      LuAnn 😉

Great title and display! The black and white with pop of orange is very striking. The cloche with the beautiful crystals on the bottom makes a wonderful backdrop to the bottle of wine and glasses.

    1. Hi Lori! Thank you for noticing the details of my display. It’s an art and it’s all in the details. I’m glad you enjoyed the post.
      Happy Tuesday!
      LuAnn 😉

  7. Hi LuAnn, sorry I did not get here sooner. Your vignette is great, I love the red its really sets it off and the napkins are wonderful, such a wonderful touch to the black and white. You always amaze me with your ideas, I enjoy them all.

Hope you have a great week!

  8. This is beautiful, LuAnn, really inviting and relaxing! Pinned and tweeting. We share the same taste in crystal – I have a few of those wine glasses too 🙂 Thank you for sharing with us at the Hearth and Soul hop.
