A Few June Blooms

June Blooms

Who doesn’t like the delicate and daintiness of Peonies and Roses? Especially when they have a soft fragrance that tickles your senses. I so look forward to seeing Peonies and Roses in full bloom every June. I wanted to share them with you in a display I have on my kitchen table.

The arrangement is a simple gathering of only a few items and the blooms of course. I decided on a rustic feel to the design with the use of a galvanized steel pitcher and tray. I love the contrast between the softness of the pink and white flowers and the plainness of the galvanized items.

Two small birds sit pretty next to the pitcher. They are salt and pepper shakers that are used on the table. Form and functional.

A simple clear glass mason jar holds a votive candle. A little glowing light never hurts any design.

  1. What a lovely vignette, the colors are so beautiful, and love seeing the lil bit of backdrop of your dining room, the wall paper looks lovely and so feminine.
