I’m so grateful to have a gazebo right off my deck. It’s a perfect outdoor space to relax and take a nap.
We don’t have a pool in our yard, but a hot tub that’s built into the deck of the gazebo.
When the hot tub is closed we can climb onto the cover very easily. The hot tub cover we bought is heavy duty and can support a lot of weight. I placed cushions I found years back from a popular home decor store on top of the cover. I thought when the tub is not being utilized we could relax on the cover with the use of cushions.
I changed the pillows from last year to ones with different patterns and colors. They reflect some of the colors I chose to use on my front porch. It’s my color theme for the summer season. Mostly pink and tan/beige hues. I decided to add touches of blue to the design in the gazebo.
I couldn’t resist these pillows when I found them last year. The birdcage designs on them are very charming. Their pink and blue colors work perfectly with the solid colored pillows and striped cushions. I added a soft blanket for chilly afternoons and evenings. It makes the space cozy and welcoming.
My round white washed tray holds some refreshments and snacks. It’s size fits beautifully on the cushions.
I placed some nautical elements in the gazebo for a fun summery feel. They match what I’ve done inside the house and keep with the nautical look I’m using this summer.
I hope you enjoyed my “Relaxing Gazebo” post!
