Today I’m sharing my blueberry muffins with you and a wonderful recipe for them. Even though it’s the end of summer, I found some tasty blueberries to make a batch of muffins with. I enjoy a lovely warm blueberry muffin for breakfast and these muffins are a perfect choice that fills the craving.
I set up a breakfast display in my pantry with my blueberry muffins on two pretty square cake stands as the centerpiece. Coffee and tea are ready for anyone who wants either.
The recipe is quick and easy to make and in less than 1/2 an hour you can have some deliciously warm blueberry muffins!
Blueberry Muffins Recipe:
2-C. Flour
1/2-C. Sugar
3-tsp. Baking Powder
1/2-tsp. Salt
1-C.Milk
1-Egg
6-Tblsp. Melted Butter
1-C. Blueberries
Sugar to Sprinkle tops
Preheat the oven to 425°. Sift dry ingredients into a large bowl. Combine milk, egg and butter. Stir into dry ingredients. Fold in blueberries. Spoon batter into prepared muffin tin. Sprinkle the tops with sugar. Bake about 25 minutes. Check around 20 minutes to see that they aren’t browning too fast. Enjoy!
This recipe makes about 12 muffins.
I added some hydrangeas from my garden to the display. Their lovely blue and green petals work wonderfully with my blueberry theme.
I hope you enjoyed my “Blueberry Muffin Breakfast” post!
