Today I’m sharing ten sweet sunflower ideas with you. As a part of my Autumn decor this season, I’ve created sunflower displays and/or vignettes.
ONE: This flat hanging wicker basket is filled with burlap sunflowers and a few white sunflowers for a little contrast. I hung it on one of my french doors that goes from my kitchen into my front foyer. It’s unexpected and works perfectly with my other kitchen decor.
TWO: On my kitchen island I have a two tired silver stand that hold some readily used items. I placed just one white sunflower head next to my black check sugar bowl and creamer. It creates a simple vignette that looks pretty in the kitchen.
THREE: On the bay window sill above my kitchen sink I have my chicken light. I’ve placed a bouquet of yellow sunflowers with a few white ones in a white ceramic lantern. The colors of the flowers blend in perfectly with the small framed picture of chickens sitting on a black easel.
FOUR: On the other side of my bay window I have a large rooster. More of the white sunflower heads are nestled next to him, my lovely green lantern and small boxwood topiary. The little vignette fills the space with just the right amount of Autumn decor.
FIVE: On the kitchen table I had created a country theme for an early Autumn display. I posted this a short while back…see my “Charming Country Centerpiece”post. I used quite a few white sunflower heads in the design and tucked them in here and there for a fun and festive feel.
SIX: My “Blueberry Muffin Breakfast” post was set up in my pantry and displays many more white sunflower heads.
SEVEN: The post on my “Monogram Burlap Bookends” also has lovely sparkled sunflower heads within the vignette.
EIGHT: In my family room I have this cabinet that I decorated with a lovely white lantern, my white owl and white sunflowers. I like the neutral tones of the display with the use of white.
NINE: The cabinet in the foyer holds my black and white Staffordshire Dogs and lovely white sunflower heads. These full looking sunflowers add a touch of playfulness with the dogs.
TEN: I found this chic looking framed black board awhile ago and hung it on the side of my kitchen cabinet. I drew a bunch of sunflowers on it along with Happy September. I think sweet sunflowers symbolize the month of September perfectly and ushers in the lovely Autumn season altogether.
