An Autumn Table

An Autumn Table

The table in my kitchen is the most used piece of furniture in my home. It’s where we have dinner with our family every night and breakfast and lunch on the weekends. We spend hours in the kitchen after our meals talking or watching TV. There’s always a center piece on my table. I enjoy decorating it, especially for the holidays. I’m continually changing it and making it different. I’m sharing with you my Autumn table design with just the right amount of
Autumn touches.

I’ve had a large size flower box on the table before, but this time I’ve used a smaller one. I wanted to create an Autumn flower box that was spilling over with Pumpkins and dried Hydrangeas.

The size of this box allowed me to design it with enough of room to decorate around it and not take up too much space on the table.

I used a few natural colored fabric pumpkins in this Autumn Centerpiece. I like the homey and casual effect they give. The rustic orange pumpkins contrast nicely against the greens of the dried Hydrangeas and blend in perfectly with the natural pumpkins. The one yellow pumpkin used in my Autumn table design blends in lovely and gives the table a bit more color.

Uniformity is part of the design with the use of orange and yellow toned sunflower napkin rings and antique white charger plates and flower box.

I placed a few artichokes in the Autumn display. I like the added texture, interest and warmth they give to the centerpiece.

  1. Your whole dining room looks so warm and inviting. I don’t even drink coffee, but if I did I would want to sit at your table with a piece of pumpkin pie and a cup of coffee!

    1. Thanks Carol for your lovely comments. I do appreciate you stopping by and commenting. The artichokes did work nicely in the display… I’m happy you enjoyed my post.
      Have a lovely week!

  2. The kitchen is definitely the place we spend the most time in our home too, LuAnn. I love how you have decorated your kitchen table. It looks so beautiful and seasonal too. Thank you for sharing this inspiring post with us at the Hearth and Soul Hop.
