Christmas Birdies

Christmas Birdies

This year I’m using a bird theme in my Christmas decor. I love the natural look of birds.  Using natural elements help create a friendly and easy going atmosphere.  It’s a humble approach to holiday decorating.

To greet my guests, I hung a white rose heart wreath on my front door and arranged a few red cardinals on it along with some holly and berries. A black check bow brightens it up.

On the porch I hung a red rose heart wreath dressed with white doves. The black check bow matches the one on the door. I can leave both hanging up right through Valentines Day.

My terrarium got another makeover for Christmas. I used a few of the items from Autumn with other components and added some Christmas charm to them.

White lanterns sit on my foyer stairs. I added winter greenery under them and red berries around the candles. White doves are perfectly perched on and round them.

More doves are perched in an arrangement I created on this lantern. Its found in my foyer right below the stairs.

This is another peek at the birds found in my flowering Christmas tree.

The rooster in the kitchen proudly sits around the trees I’ve displayed in the bow window above my sink. He’s my big birdie.
