Today, I’m sharing a simple Autumn table with you. Sometimes the biggest impact you can create is with the smallest amount of things. Less is more concept. I wanted a simple design on my kitchen table that would look and feel like Autumn without a lot of fuss. I don’t have a lot of time these days with taking care of my Grandson during the week so, with the time I do have it has to be a quick and well, simple design.
I wanted a country feel to my table and what looks more country than the use of roosters and chickens and eggs? Ok, I went country traditional on you or should I say traditionally country. Anyway, you got the point. A few yellowish/white pumpkins added to the mix gave the Autumn table-scape what it needed.
So, you know how I wanted it to look simple? Well, I decided to add a little more to the design after I took my photos and here it is. A few more Autumn touches to the Autumn vignette.
I like the height of the rooster behind the chicken painting. It looks as though the rooster is peeking out from behind it.
The extra items enlarged the overall design on the table and gave it more substance.
I couldn’t resist showing the rest of the first photos to you. They came out pretty good and I thought it would be nice to share them. I’ve done this many times before where I would take great shots only to add more to the design or change it completely. I would take more photos and scrap the first. This time I left them!
I hope you enjoyed my “Simple Autumn Table” post!
