Hello everyone! Today, I’m sharing my Christmas tree with you. This year I dressed it with pretty neutrals for a soft and elegant look. I decorated the tree with various glass ornaments along with bunches of faux hydrangeas. I love how the hydrangeas fill and soften the empty spaces in the tree.
My tree design was centered around the reason for this season. I felt it should honor our Lord’s birthday and decided to display a beautiful baby Jesus fast asleep in heavenly wings along with a host of beautiful angels.
Small white doves are perched throughout the design and also pretty golden angel wings. I wanted my tree to reflect Christmas in a lovely heavenly way.
I kept the fireplace mantel design in the living room soft and light as well. I balanced a few topiaries on the shelf with a rose hip garland and a few white glass star ornaments also found in the tree. One of the white doves sits on top of the tall topiary.
I have a rose hip wreath in the center of my coffee table and placed a large sized lantern in the middle of it. More glass white stars are nestled around the wreath. I like to keep a continuity to my designs.
My living room has gone through a change this year. I had the wallpaper taken down after many many years and painted the blue trim bone white to match the other rooms of my home. I like the lightness of the room. It is much brighter now than it was before.
