A Lovely Livings Christmas Tree

Hello everyone!  Today, I’m sharing my Christmas tree with you.  This year I dressed it with pretty neutrals for a soft and elegant look.  I decorated the tree with various glass ornaments along with bunches of faux hydrangeas.  I love how the hydrangeas fill and soften the empty spaces in the tree.

My tree design was centered around the reason for this season.  I felt it should honor our Lord’s birthday and decided to display a beautiful baby Jesus fast asleep in heavenly wings along with a host of beautiful angels.

Small white doves are perched  throughout the design and also pretty golden angel wings. I wanted my tree to reflect Christmas in a lovely heavenly way.

I kept the fireplace mantel design in the living room soft and light as well. I balanced a few topiaries on the shelf with a rose hip garland and a few white glass star ornaments also found in the tree. One of the white doves sits on top of the tall topiary.
I have a rose hip wreath in the center of my coffee table and placed a large sized lantern in the middle of it. More glass white stars are nestled around the wreath. I like to keep a continuity to my designs.

My living room has gone through a change this year. I had the wallpaper taken down after many many years and painted the blue trim bone white to match the other rooms of my home. I like the lightness of the room. It is much brighter now than it was before.

  1. Hi, LuAnn! Your tree is beautiful, and very close to the one I did two years ago…we even have the same hydrangeas lol! Love it all. I like the living room without the wallpaper…much brighter. What manufacturer and color is your bone white? I’m going crazy looking for a creamy white to paint our trim, so any help would really be appreciated. My oldest son and dil are flying in to share the holidays…. I am so excited!!!! Wishing you and yours a very merry Christmas and good health in the coming year. Hugs!

    1. Hi Cindy! Thank you for your lovely comment. When I found this beautiful baby Jesus figurine I just had to find a way to work it into my tree. I’m happy you enjoyed it!
      Have a very Merry Christmas!

  2. Oh my….what a perfect tree!! It is absolutely beautiful, and I bet you have the manger scene in your cabinet again. I loved that when you posted a year or so ago!
    MANY Christmas blessings to you!!
PS: that rose hip garland is gorgeous…where would a person find such a thing??

    1. Hi J! I was thrilled to include this beautiful baby Jesus in my tree this year and I felt he needed to be surrounded by his lovely angels. I’m happy you enjoyed it! I do have my manger scene up again, but in another place. I will post it for Christmas Day.
I purchased the garland ar Pier 1 this year, but unfortunately they no longer have it any more. Maybe it will be brought back in the Spring or Summer. I wish I picked up a few more. Try Google searching it, you might find more out there with someone else. It is beautiful and works perfectly on the mantel…just the right size and thickness.
I hope you have a very lovely Christmas. Many Christmas and New Year blessings to you!

  3. LuAnn your tree is so beautiful what a wonderful place to enjoy Christmas Morning with family!!

I wanted to stop by and thank you for partying with Oh My Heartsie Girls Parties through the past year and send Warmest Greetings of the Season and Best Wishes for Happiness in the New Year with Holiday Blessings
