The snow has been crazy here lately… in just a few days we received about 24″. Where we live in Connecticut we seem to receive the most in the State. We went from almost no snow this season to a lot in two days. I always felt if it’s going to be winter it might as well snow. I love how God’s beautiful white blanket covers His Earth. It’s so pretty and awesomely quiet after a snow storm. I thank God for the gift of living in an area of the world that receives His beautiful spectacles of nature. His wonderful changing seasons. How Great is our God to give us such loveliness. It’s hard to believe that tomorrow is Valentine’s Day! I have been so busy enjoying my Grandson that time just slipped away from me! In fact, we just celebrated his first birthday.
I created a simple Valentine’s Day table this year using just a few items in my design. When I found these beautiful colored Tulips at my local grocery store I couldn’t resist purchasing them. I knew right away where to place them. I was thinking about using Roses for my table, but these lovely Tulips seemed the perfect choice!
The colors of the Tulips were an ideal shade and helped to brighten my table and my Valentine’s Day Vignette. It’s wonderful to purchase Tulips in the winter. These Spring time beauties are a great way to chase the winter blues away.
Red stripe napkins coordinate nicely with the Tulips while the white flower napkin rings tie the design together. Small red hearts give the table a touch of romance and the finishing touches to this Valentine’s Day table-scape.
I hope you enjoyed my “Lovely Valentine Table” post!
