A Lovely Spring Table

A Lovely Spring Table II

Today I would love to share the Spring table-scape I created for my Easter Dinner. It’s not only for Easter, but an idea for the entire Spring season.
I know I haven’t been posting much lately, but I’ve been very busy with my new Grandson these past few months. I babysit during the day for my daughter while she works with my husband in our family business. God has blessed us with a beautiful and health baby boy. He’s our first grandchild! It’s been fourteen years since we had a baby around and being a stay at home mother of five, I’m loving every minute of being a stay at home grandmother! You can view a few of his pictures on my Instagram page on the side of my blog.

A Lovely Spring Table

A year ago I stared this and never had the chance to finish and post it.  Looking back at my saved drafts I found this one and decided to finish it and share it with you today.  My dining room furniture has changed since then, but the ideas for a lovely Easter/Spring table still work. Anyway, it’s Easter yesterday right?  My daughter Jenn came up with that…lol!

I decided to leave what I was writing last year in this post.  It sort of applies today, only the baby is now one and running around and you can still view his pictures on my Instagram page on the side of my blog.

A Lovely Spring Table

Bunnies were the theme I used last year on my table.  These were the perfect size to use especially on the etagere I placed in the middle of the table.

I wanted to create a romantic sort of Victorian look to the table design with the use of tea pots tea cups and some lace.

Using a few different shades of green hews gave the table a pretty look and a lovely Spring time feel.  I finished the design with colorful eggs scattered about for a small pop of color.  They created a nice contrast and gave the design that perfect touch it needed.

I don’t know about you, but I love how Tulips look in tea pots, especially silver ones.  They fall perfectly from the sides of the pots.  They make such an elegant arrangement and fit in just about anywhere.

I will be posting my current table centerpiece in a few days.  I thought it would be fun to share this one with you since I had it just about ready to go last year.

I hope you enjoyed  last year’s “A Lovely Spring Table” post!

  1. Oh my goodness this is gorgeous, LuAnn! What sweet china bunnies and gorgeous tulips. And I love how you have used the teapots as vases! Scheduled to share on our Hearth and Soul Facebook page later today. Thank you so much for being a part of Hearth and Soul.
