Happy October! I love this time of the year! The weather here in CT is warm during the day and very cool at night. The trees are changing their color a little day by day and soon in about two weeks we should see peek colors. It all happens way to fast. I wish the colors would last longer. I’m very thankful for the pretty autumns we receive here in New England.
I’ve been busy Pumpkin-ing my home for Autumn. Today, I want to share my Pumpkin table vignette. I use the same pumpkins year after year in different and creative ways. I’ve invested in a good size faux pumpkin patch that I pull from.
I enjoy the look of stacked pumpkins. In order to stack my faux pumpkins, I carefully pulled off the stems. I will replace them (the stems) before I put the pumpkins away for the season.
Three small white pumpkins are stacked under a cloche. I needed to balance the items on the table with one another and the space around them. This worked perfectly! The height of the cloche is just the right size next to the larger stacked pumpkins and fills the space with added fun. Cloches fit right into any design and gives vignettes more interest.
I decorated another rustic trough shaped container. The other one, much larger, I used on my family room table and posted on it last month. They were both purchased as a set. It’s filled with mini pumpkins, succulents and artichokes. Perfect for the kitchen!
I made a bow from MacKenzie-Childs Tulip Check 2″ Ribbon. I find this ribbon works well with any season. The colors of the bow blend and match the design on my table nicely.
I hope you enjoyed my “Pumpkins on the Table” post!
