Lovely Winter Roses

Lovely Winter Roses

My favorite florals are roses and what better time to display them than during Winter.  Even though spring is just around the corner, it still can be a dreary time of the year here in New England.  I find having pretty flowers (roses and peonies) here and there around the home can brighten things up…even your spirits.

These soft pink roses are so delightful and elegant in this silver tea pot.  It’s an ideal vessel to use!  The rose arrangement can be displayed easily anywhere in your home, especially in a dining room or kitchen.

Wanting something lovely for my kitchen counter, these roses filled the need perfectly.  It’s so nice walking into the kitchen and seeing them.  Their simple beauty picks up my day and makes me smile.

Some people complain because God put thorns on roses, while others praise Him for putting roses among thorns. unknown

  2. I had to come back and say thankyou!! Seeing your lovely pink roses in the silver teapot, gave me an idea that played out perfectly! I do the flowers for our church altar, and decided to use my silver tea service for Mother’s day. I filled the coffeepot, the tea pot and the sugar bowl with pink spray roses. I put some asparagus fern in the cream pitcher and the waste bowl and a lovely handmade doily over the edge of the footed tray. It’s beautiful tatted ruffle was gorgeous trailing down to the top of the altar.
Thank you MORE than I can say for giving me the idea. Everyone loved it…even the Pastor commented on how fitting it was for Mother’s day.
    Blessings,
    J
PS: I have my eye on my miniature red wagon for Father’s day ;^)

    • Hi J! I’m so happy my display inspired you to create something beautiful for your church altar and for God. It’s so wonderful to give back to God our gift of creativity that He gave us. Who better to appreciate it more than God, the ultimate creator!
      Blessings to you too!

PS: Good luck with your mini red wagon!
