Oh Mary, Conceived Without Sin, Pray For Us Who Have Recourse To Thee

On December 8th, Catholics celebrate the Feast of “The Immaculate Conception”. It is not the conception of Jesus in Mary’s womb, but of Mary in Anne’s womb.

At the moment of Mary’s conception she was preserved from all stain of original sin through the merits of her son Jesus Christ’s future life, death and resurrection.

Oh Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to Thee. You were kept free from original sin so that the Word of God could make His abode in You. Oh Mary, sweet Ark of the covenant, obtain for me the grace I need to resist sin, the devil, the world and all its pomps and to live for Christ alone.

Immaculate Mary,
your praises we sing.
You reign now in Heaven
with Jesus our King.
Ave, Ave, Ave, Maria! Ave, Ave, Ave, Maria!

In Heaven the blessed
your glory proclaim;
On earth we your children
invoke your sweet name.
Ave, Ave, Ave, Maria! Ave, Ave, Ave, Maria!

We pray for our Mother,
the Church upon earth,
And bless, Holy Mary,
the land of our birth.
Ave, Ave, Ave, Maria! Ave, Ave, Ave, Maria!

We pray you, O Mother,
may God’s will be done
We pray for His glory,
may his Kingdom come.
Ave, Ave, Ave, Maria! Ave, Ave, Ave, Maria!

I was thinking of you yesterday. We have a shared devotion to the Blessed Mother. Thank you for sharing. Hope all is well!

    1. Thank you Susan for thinking of me! I do love our Blessed Mother! You are very welcome for the share. All is good here, we are very
blessed with everything we have and are able to do despite the difficult time we are living in. I keep praying the Rosary and the Divine Mercy Chaplet for our family and for our country. We all need to be praying as much as we could. I hope all is well with you too! Hugs and Blessings, LuAnn
