Home for Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! While it’s still officially Autumn for a few more weeks, I wanted to share my Thanksgiving table and some of my Autumn decor around my house before I change it for Christmas. I was hoping to share it sooner, but with watching my grandchildren and fall cleaning this year I’m really behind. I thought, why not show it now, I was a little apprehensive, but better late than never. I know others are sharing Christmas decor, but I will share mine next week as I decorate room by room.
This year I decided to stack my velvet pumpkins on my mantel. I used this metal wall art piece during the Summer season and left it up for Autumn. Stacking and lining up my pumpkins along the mantel created a unique, yet simple look this season.

I

Mercury glass votive candle holders mix in with the pumpkins. I placed timed faux tea light candles inside each cup to create a warm and friendly atmosphere in my living room. The red tones with the pink adds a pop of color in the design.
A cozy spot in my foyer is perfect for some autumn touches. Warm and comfy is what I like to create, especially during these cold months.
My dining room table is all set to go. This Thanksgiving I decided to keep the pink and white theme I used during the year. I wanted a soft and pretty Thanksgiving tablescape. The pink and white pumpkins worked perfectly into this setting. I like the uplifting atmosphere these colors create. Though these colors are beautiful for Spring and Summer, I like how they can transition for Autumn as well.

I scattered baby boo pumpkins along a burlap ruffled runner. Turkey salt and pepper shakers and small leaf dishes fill the table with a lovely Thanksgiving sentiment. Candle sticks with tappers and mercury glass votive cups with tea light candles both fill my Autumn table and room with a wonderful glow.
It’s Thanksgiving time again! That time to gather with my family and express my, not only thankfulness, but sincere gratefulness to our Lord for all His gifts and blessings He has bestowed on my family and myself. I especially am thankful for the gift of our health during this very trying year.
I wish everyone a very lovely, safe, healthy and Happy Thanksgiving!
