I love to sit on my rocking chairs on the front porch while enjoying a nice conversation with someone either on the phone or in person. A mason jar filled with tasty iced tea hits the spot, especially because this summer has started out very hot and humid. It’s a perfect pick me up on a hot and steamy afternoon!
This summer I chose to use pink and beige tones in my front porch design. I coordinated the front door wreath with the accessories on the porch for a pretty and elegant facade. The contrasting tones of light and dark pink next to the beige or khaki colors are perfect in creating a lovely atmosphere. I created a personal touch with the use of monogram pillows. They go along with the monogram banner and wreath on the front door.
The feeling of my decor on the porch is almost tropical. Perfect for the summer!
Pretty and relaxing or pretty relaxing is the theme of my porch.
I picked some pink roses from my garden to display in this tall white pitcher. The pitcher is just right next to the lantern on the table. The vignette of these items along with the iced tea makes the design very inviting.
Who doesn’t love roses? They are the perfect choice in any decor…they fit right in anywhere and help to make a design more special.
