Are you ready for Christmas? I’m just about ready! It’s almost here and today I’m sharing my living room. It’s all decked out for Christmas! It’s the room we love to have our tree in. The fireplace’s warm glow compliments the decorated mantel and tree beautifully. We spend our nights relaxing in front of the fire and enjoying the Christmas ambience of the room.
Soft and natural is the look I wanted for my living room, with just a small amount of red accents.
This year I used burlap wired ribbon to decorate my tree and mantel. I like the tree and mantel to be the same, this continuity gives the room an elegant touch.
Don’t you just love these white star glass ornaments? I found them this year at one of my favorite home decor stores. I like the softness they give to the tree and mantel.
A natural look is the theme for my Christmas design this year. Small birds are tucked in here and there on the tree and mantel. I like the way they are peeking out from the branches.
This crown is my topper again this year. I feel it’s symbolic of Christmas. The Christ child is our crowned glory! What better way to show it!
These majestic reindeer add to the elegance of the room. I wrapped golden fruit around them to make the display more interesting. The gold color compliments the cloched stand that’s in the middle of the vignette. I filled the cloche with clear glass ornaments and sprigs of faux pine branches. The fire from the fireplace casts a wonderful glow through it and also the crystals that hang from the stand.
Holiday decorative pillows add to the warmth of the room. I love pillows! They make a chair or sofa look cozy and welcoming, especially for the holidays.
I hope you enjoyed my Deck the Halls for Christmas post today!
