My Christmas kitchen decor this year is focused mainly around greens and whites. I wanted to create a winter vignette that gives the feeling of a winter landscape or winter wonderland. I feel I achieved this with this display I put together on my bay window over my sink.I had these glittery reindeer for many years and used them in various places in my home, this year I thought they would accent the window over my sink nicely. The space is pretty large and sometimes finding the right items to decorate it with can be a challenge. The window is sun filled for most of the day, especially now during the winter. It’s fun to decorate with glittery things that sparkle in the sun light.I incorporated decorative Christmas items with functional kitchen pieces. It just seems more practical for the kitchen. On the kitchen table I’ve kept the white washed dough bowl that I have been using all year. I wanted the table to be pretty simple yet festive. The green and white tones match the design on my bay window. I placed a lantern in the middle of the bowl and surrounded it with winter greens. It adds a lovely warm touch to the centerpiece. My white ceramic churches add just the right Christmas touch on my kitchen sideboard and blend in nicely with the plates I display there.
