Today, I’m sharing the Christmas design on my fireplace mantel. I’ve put together various ever greens and eucalyptus stems. I wanted the mantel to be filled out with items I could use for Christmas and then leave up for awhile for Winter.I’ve placed three of the frosted candy cane ornaments that I have on my tree, right in the middle of the arrangement. I wanted to tie some of the objects on the tree to the mantel so that the living room would be cohesive. White gross grain ribbon bows were also used.Frosted pines, large white berries and pine cones give the mantel a definite Christmas/Winter style. The bows add that flowy graceful feeling to the composition.Candle sticks are a perfect addition to the design. I love how they add that touch of elegance and harmony. Soft and pretty was what I wanted to create for my living room. Combining wintery elements in frosted and neutral tones helped to produce that look I was going for.
