I’m sharing a little love on my blog. I enjoy expressing my love for my family in my home decor and February is the best month to do just that. How we decorate our home really conveys this feeling. When we go out of our way to create a lovely environment, it shows in the family’s attitude. When the home is cleaned, organized and decorated with small touches such as flower arrangements and plants, it creates a feel good atmosphere of love, patience and understanding with each other. Loving one another is much easier when the home you’re retreating to daily is ordered, comfortable and cozy.
Use of romantic elements help to add to the loving intimacy and relaxed emotions in an environment. This can be found in the use of soft colors and textures, cozy pillows and throws and candles, faux or real flame.
A warm and homey feeling is what we all crave for. That feeling of I’m home and I’m glad you are here with me. Let’s grab a big throw and get wrapped up in it and forget our troubles.
Love is said in so many ways. Here, literally! Love is expressed in what we say and what we do and how we do it. Sometimes a little love can go a long way in conveying the message that you care and the atmosphere around us matters a lot.
Spreading a little love is not hard to do, it just takes a little thought and planning. It’s well worth it!
