Brass Autumn Floral Arrangement

Today,  I’m sharing a simple autumn floral arrangement I created for my kitchen counter.  Though the florals aren’t typically found in autumn, these warm colored dahlias work lovely for the season.  The space on my counter needs something of interest and this arrangement fits perfectly.

The hues of these dahlias are beautiful against this brass pitcher.  I simply placed a few white pumpkins in a set of tea cups and saucers that match the plates I have on display.  Sometimes the designs that are easy and effortless make the most impact.  Recently, I enjoy creating more humble designs.

I love how the warmth of the arrangement makes the space very welcoming in the kitchen.  On Thanksgiving day, my house will be filled with the ones I love and the kitchen is where we will all gather till dinner time.  I like it dressed for the occasion.

I like splashes of warm colors here and there around the house especially during autumn and Thanksgiving.  Combining these colors with neutral colors makes your room pop.  Contrast is what you need to keep your designs from being boring.  A little color goes a long way.
