Christmas Living Room

Today, I’m finally sharing my Christmas living room decor. I feel soft is the way to go and my flocked tree helps in creating this look.
I used tones of blush and pink and mixed in gold.
The empty spaces in the tree were filled with a faux snow blanket that I pulled apart and placed on various branches here and there. This helped to give the tree a fuller and snow laden appearance.
I found this beautiful gold and blush ribbon on Amazon this year. It was the perfect color for my tree and blended in nicely with all of the ornaments.
The fireplace mantel was kept simple with the use of three glittery white ceramic trees placed in the middle. I filled the space around the trees with garland and also used mercury votive candle holders with timed faux tea lights, to gently illuminate the space.
I love how my cloche fit right in with my Christmas decor. I placed my Willow figurine and an orchid in the cloche. The orchid seems to tenderly surround the figures of Jesus, Mary and Joseph. This perfectly expresses my sentiment for this holiday.
The orchid is a symbol of beautiful perfection. In Christian theology, the spots on orchids are believed to represent the blood of Christ, so they are often found in Easter and even Christmas arrangements. White orchids symbolize innocence and purity, as well as elegance and reverence.
